My daughter’s wedding at El Mangroove was beyond amazing. She had always dreamed of getting married in Costa Rica, and seeing it come true was truly special. The staff were kind and attentive, the food was excellent, and the accommodations were beautiful. Everything for our group of 20 was handled smoothly, making the celebration stress-free and unforgettable. For our transportation and tours we went with nomadtourscr and it was such a good choice. Gabriel gave us great suggestions and really looked after us. On our arrival we were hungry, and our driver took us to a small local spot where we tried a “casado,” a traditional Costa Rican dish — what a great start to our trip! We did the Buena Vista Adventure, which turned out to be a highlight, and our guide Gilbert explained everything so well. We also booked a private sunset catamaran for the family, which was an incredible experience. Highly recommend both El Mangroove!!

My daughter Olivia and I had the pleasure of staying at El Mangroove Marriott Hotel in Costa Rica this August, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable travel experiences we’ve had together. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for throughout our stay. We were kindly greeted by Isaac and Cesar, whose warmth and professionalism made us feel instantly at ease. During our entire stay, Natalia was especially attentive—always available and happy to assist with anything we needed. The service across the resort was exceptional; the staff made us feel seen, cared for, and completely at home. The rooms and shared spaces were immaculately clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. We loved the open-air layout and how the natural surroundings were seamlessly integrated—it created such a peaceful and relaxing environment. We especially looked forward to the breakfast buffet each morning, which offered a generous variety of authentic and traditional Costa Rican dishes alongside familiar favorites. It was the perfect way to start each day, and the flavors truly reflected the culture and care behind every meal. The amenities were excellent—the pool was beautiful and well-maintained, the beachfront was quiet and scenic, and every area felt calm and inviting. The overall atmosphere was the perfect mix of laid-back and luxurious, with a unique connection to the surrounding nature and Costa Rican charm. This was the ideal mother-daughter getaway, and we left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and grateful. Fantastic destination and great service. If you do go reach out to Pablo the concierge!!! He made our families trip by suggesting perfect excisions and booking our activities in advance… while sometimes we changed with moments notices but he handled our family so well. Five stars!
